Introduction to the Subzero^
The Subzero is a new six foot light wind freestyle kite from Pim Kusters. Pim writes:
"First of all....the wind range, for an ultra light it has a pretty broad wind range, going from 0 to 2 bft. In those no wind conditions the kite will do all the tricks as easily as in 2 bft. with almost no walking forward. The hand movements are extremely small (backspins are a flick of the wrist) and it doesn't pull at all, just the opposite of the french kites. The tricking can be pretty extreme being a bit of a radical kite, but when you want to take it slow you can do that. nice slow cascades, 540's, slots, helicopters, axels and backspins are easily done. Next to that this Ultra light has the capability to to reversed Flic-flacs and if you know how it will even do a yo yo-fade. You don't have to be very gentle with it, because it can take a beating. You can really do hard tip stabs or two point landing without being afraid to break the LE "
