Paradox £130
Aesthetics have played a strong part in the design of this 2.3m trick kite, with large panels in clear Mylar, with the rest of the sail in crisp icarex fabric. This is a new generation floaty freestyler with plenty of fabric to enable those fade style tricks, and elevators. The kite is certainly less twitchy than the earlier generation of radical kites.

The kite is certainly easy to flip on it's back, and dead launches with ease. The kite's weakness seems to be in recovery - 100ft lines recommended.

The sail construction is glued and stitched, and the bridle is dynamic style. The sail is a 3D design of icarex and 0.5mm and 3.0mm Mylar. With such a neat sail design the paradox is sure to be popular choice for the style conscious recreational flyer, although it lacks something for the more radical freestyler.
