In flight the Topas is very much a kite of its class, slow floaty axles, fountains rather than cascades (it loves to rise in spin tricks like 540's) lazy flick flacks and fades, that whilst harder to achieve than kites with a less curved sail area fades are stable. Recovery is also good. In stronger winds the Topas will pull quite a bit, but here on longer lines enviable precision is found.
If you are looking for a kite to fly on longer lines (say 100ft), that you
can still knock about on 50ft in light wind, that will flat spin and "ballet"
across the sky the Topas is hard to beat.
