The X-Raver will fly from the lightest winds, and it's sail area means that it is harder to trick (hold onto!) at the top of its 25mph wind range, despite it's 3-point bridle the X-Raver is an excellent freestyle performer. Axles are flat, and can easily be combined into cascades or fountains. Alternatively the half axle to fade manoeuvre produces a stable fade that can be worked into a flick flack or held and raised. Fade launches are available, as are deadlaunches even in the lightest winds. The swallowtail contributes to this recoverability, making it an attractive proposition for the trick off flier! The tail flattens the trick line in a way that makes lazy susans easy - the kite will float mid sky on its back and can be easily rotated from there.
In conclusion the X-Raver is a beautifully balanced freestyle machine, which
offers a serious alternative to Mullin and Benson
