The Elektron st is a 6ft kite, and is manufactured with high quality fittings with a 5.5mm frame and a icarex sale. The bridle is a dynamic variant with a tip fade line to keep the kite stable in 3d freestyle.
Flying in light wind axles are flat, and easily go through to second and third rotations, and into controlled cascades. Flatspins are easy enough as are all manner of takeoffs; dead launching is straight forward, as are other ground recoveries. The Elektron flick flacks smoothly or quickly and can be held in a fade with no problems. Backspins are easy and can be maintained until the lines cease up (i tried!) the backspin is much flatter than the lt and a single flick will cause the kite to rotate many times. The trick line allows multiple lazy susans and flap jacks and yo yo's also smooth. The st is less precise than its lt cousin.
In conclusion this is also kite that any trick flier would be proud to have and fly, its performance is bang up to date, and offers an interesting alternative to the ubiquitous area 51 in its price range
