Streatham 2005 was warm with wind. Bob was there and reports.
Eeeeow. Start of the season and it great to get out of my field. France
may offer more glamour but getting back into the UK is always a problem.
No-one wants a rabbid donkey.
So into the donkey box and down to 'Sarf Landan' to meet up with the Robertshaws and team and young Roy, who always has a box of carrots for me. Thanks Roy! Streatham kite day is small and intimate with a good showing from the general public. Carl was flying with his new Fury .85 routine and James flying Revolution. Carl brought the largest bag of thistles along I have ever seen, and mucked out my donkey box. Thank you Carl. I owe you one.
Carl also had nine brand new Delta Serpents. very nice indeed. Flying space was limited but freestyle fun was had with Chris, Axel and others in the breaks between scheduled items. Great to fly again, although my hooves ache like mad.
A fun day out followed by the trip back out of London back to sweeter tasting grass. Can you spot me in the photos? Eeeeow! Oh and don't forget to check out the video I shot!
