Taster Video
I had 30 minutes with the kite this afternoon, and managed to get some of the flying in front of the Tripod.
- Windows Media Format: Transfer.wmv 5.30 Mb (Good Quality)

I have tried to put moves in to give people an idea of how it flies, however this is very much one fliers first experiences of a new kite:
[0:00] First up a look at the kite (with the fade point line shown).
[0:18] then my shadow ...
[0:27] and a girl on a bike (it is a french kite!).
[0:40] Cascades - first nose down (how the french seem to like them and make them plummet), followed by some funny continuous axel thing.
[0:55] and then some .... er straighter ones. Yes it does both but the wind was very light.
[1:07] Some more continuous Axel things
[1:10] Just playing with the pitch. It lazy susans really quickly. Had trouble with wrap ups ... but more on that later ...
[1:19] Can't leave those funny things alone.
[1:30] 540's. You have to be careful or you get tip wraps. Well I don't but some people did at the weekend. (notice how I can't resist a cascade coming out of a 540)
[1:45] Backspins. Some people had trouble with these at the weekend. I 0w|\|Z 7h3m ph4r 1 4m 13373r ... or something.
[1:54] Okay playing with flic-flac, don't get enough pitch for the Wap do Wap, and it only gives me a single backspin. Still need to get into the pitch balance on this kite.
[2:08] Half Axel take off. I just like that shot. It doesn't eat groundwork like the Fury does but it is pretty good.
[2:13] A very dull old fashioned lazy susan, which is nice because I can never get the Fury to do dull old fashioned ones. Followed by some more backspins. Those ground ones went on for ages without losing height, but it wasn't very interesting - so I cut them.
[2:33] This bit typifies all the flying off camera. I am still having trouble getting the Transfer to wrap up with the lines on the right side of the yo-yo stops. Here however I go from a backspin into a yo-yo, fly out of shot and the back in for a sort of half axel unwrap. Once it is wrapped up it is really great, and nice and stiff.
[2:50] The most annoying thing about this kite is that is doesn't wind its own lines up. Sort it out L'Atelier!
I hope you enjoyed that. I feel all ABW now.
